The United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council (UKDPC) National Council

The National Council is responsible for formulating UKDPC policy and to ensure that UKDPC has clear policy and operational guidelines, and to monitor and direct the work of the Executive and other Committees to ensure that they operate within UKDPC objectives.

National Council is made up of the Officers of the Council, five delegates elected from underrepresented groups, four delegates elected from Full National Member organisations and ten delegates elected from Full Regional member organisations.

Membership

• Acting Chair (Post currently held by Anne Pridmore).
• Vice Chair External (Post currently held by Roy Webb).
• Vice Chair Internal (Post currently held by Janet Seymour Kirk).
• General Secretary (Post currently held by James Elder-Woodward).
• Acting Treasurer (Post currently held by James Elder-Woodward).
• The elected delegates are currently Sheila Furniss, Alan Martin, Anne Mwangi, Philip Reynolds, Julie Newman, Denise Canniffe, Iain Montgomery and Nicholas Russell.

Meetings

The Council will meet no less than four times per year.
