The United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council Policy Making

National Council

The United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council policy making body is its National Council which comprises elected regional and national representatives.

The National Council currently comprises the following members:

 Sheila Blair - Company Secretary

 Anne Mwangi - ABAPSTAS
 Julie Robinson - Trade Union Disability Alliance (TUDA)

 Julie Newman - REGARD
 Denise Cannife - Choices & Rights Disability Coalition
 Nicholas Russell - Labour Party Disabled Members Group
 Russell Stronach - Disability Action North East
 David MacDonald - Omnibus Partnership
 Claire Robinson - DANDA
 Jason Vaughan - Surrey Independent Living Council

The United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council policies and strategies are decided by the National Council following consultation with Member Groups. There is 100% representation of disabled people on The United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council, Executive Committee and Committees. UKDPC employs six staff who are all disabled people.

Executive Committee

The United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council Executive Committee is responsible for implementing and managing the policy decisions made by the National Council. The Executive Committee consists of:
