There is a new European funding programme which is about addressing discrimination in the labour market, covering both employment and self-employment.

Money has already been distributed to a number of Development Partnerships across the country, and one target group is disabled people. If you or your group is interested, and for groups there may be opportunities for funding and/or to sit on the partnerships, then look at their website – www.equal.ecotec.co.uk.

For instance, just before I joined BCODP, I helped with a successful bid around social enterprises being run by disabled people.
