'Access to Work' SurveyAndy Rickell, Chief Executive, BCODPYou will be pleased to hear that the movement has been successful in getting regular meetings with the Minister for Disabled People (thanks in particular to Rachel Hursts lobbying skills). At the last meeting one of the things we raised with her were problems that disabled people have had in getting help through Access to Work. The Minister pointed out that the budget for Access to Work has doubled since 1997 and was disappointed to learn that there were such complaints. She would like to hear of evidence that disabled people are having difficulties. So over to you! Give us as much information as possible about real cases (without the names), and we will put them all together and tell the Ministry about the experiences of people within the movement.
