BCODP Supports DAN (Direct Action Network)

As part of DAN’s ‘free our people’ campaign, BCODP is working with DAN to get the core demands of its campaign included in a draft bill.

Its core demands are:

1. No financial limit to disabled people’s freedom.
2. Services should follow the disabled person wherever they wish to live.
3. Accessible housing for all.
4. Centres for independent living in every local authority area.

BCODP will be working with other allies in Rights Now to draft a new UK Civil Rights Bill which will include these demands.
