Consultation Database Research Officer

The British Council of Disabled People has a new project, funded through The Department of Health, Section 64. This is a three year project and the task is:-

“To compile and maintain a comprehensive and accurate database of organisations of disabled people and older people across the United Kingdom"”

The new post to carry out this work is open to Disabled People with a knowledge and understanding of the Social Model of Disability and self organised groups. Experience of research would be helpful.

The post is funded for a 3 year term and the starting salary will be in the region of £16,000 per year.
