The British Council of Disabled People Transcriptions Tender

The British Council of Disabled People is looking to develop a Transcriptions Agency.
BCODP therefore has £35,000 available to develop an Agency that will offer:-

• Agreed standards and quality of transcription work
• Offer specific training in relation to transcription such as Braille, picture formatting, and recording.
• Identifying other suitable agencies for translating work into appropriate community languages
• Market the services of our member groups who provide this service on a national basis.
  
• Provide an ‘in-house’ service to National Council, the Executive Committee, Committees and Projects within BCODP.
  

This is a time-limited piece of work and would therefore suit a small group of consultants or an organisation able to deliver the outcomes by summer 2003.
