Campaigns

UKDPC is the national umbrella organisation of groups run by disabled people. UKDPC's mission statement is "To secure, by all democratic means, our full and equal human and civil rights as disabled people in the UK". UKDPC works to support disabled people with campaigning on local issues as well as providing representation on national issues.

 UKDPC will be campaigning on Disability Hate Crime  Disability Hate Crime.

 UKDPC are campaigning on the Government's proposals for the Single Equality Bill for Great Britain.

 UKDPC are campaigning on the UN Disability Convention

 UKDPC are supporting Equal rights to Life issues.
 UKDPC are currently campaigning on the Welfare Reform Bill.
 UKDPC are currently campaigning on the Independent Living Bill.
 UKDPC have issued press releases and briefings on Mental Health Bill.
 UKDPC are members of the I Decide Coalition, a long term campaign against the Mental Capacity Bill and Act.

UKDPC want to support more of its members in getting strong campaigns going and working with our members and our staff team.
