Campaigns

UKDPC is the national umbrella organisation of groups run by disabled people. UKDPC's mission statement is "To secure, by all democratic means, our full and equal human and civil rights as disabled people in the UK". UKDPC works to support disabled people with campaigning on local issues as well as providing representation on national issues.

Bullet UKDPC are supporting Equal rights to Life issues.
Bullet UKDPC are currently campaigning on the Welfare Reform Bill.
Bullet UKDPC are currently campaigning on the Independent Living Bill.
Bullet UKDPC have issued press releases and briefings on Mental Health Bill.
Bullet UKDPC are members of the I Decide Coalition, a long term campaign against the Mental Capacity Bill and Act.
