My name Simone Aspis. I am really excited of working with the United Kingdom's Disabled People's Council where there will be lots of chances to support disabled people to campaign for civil rights and full participation in life with no ifs or buts.  I worked in People First as their Parliamentary and Campaigns Worker I oversaw the campaign to ensure that Disabled people with learning difficulties were able to get direct payments and included in any equal rights laws.
